The chairs are newly upholstered in a natural colour Anna French woven linen. Seat height is 47 cm.
These French chairs have a distinct Scandinavian inspiration, but still retain a unique design. The Baumann furniture factory was located in a former clog factory in Colombier-Fontaine in the Doubs (France) and was one of the 20th Century’s most acclaimed makers, gaining its early success in children’s furniture and chairs. Founded by Swiss Emile Baumann, the business was taken over in 1903 by his son, Walter. Baumann became one of the biggest manufacturers of bent wood furniture along with Thonet. The company closed in 2003.
