More about this product
Savour the unique atmosphere of the sweet Tuscan hills in your home with the Pot Pourri Scented Candle. A special collection of flowers, leaves, and roots that grow on our gentle slopes, prepared by Santa Maria Novella following an ancient tradition.
The Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella can trace its roots back to the Florence of 1221. In that year, Dominican friars founded the convent of Santa Maria Novella, and began to cultivate - among other things - a garden. From that same garden, many centuries of experience in pharmacopoeia and natural preparations began to develop. And in later years that experience would expand to include the worlds of cosmetics, fragrances and wellness products.
Olifactory Family: Aromatic Notes.
The freshness of the laurel is combined with citrus notes on the top. In the middle, an aromatic blend of lavender, thyme, rosemary and cloves gives a feeling of naturalness and well-being. In the base, cedarwood, patchouli, and balsam from Peru give character to the mélange.
TOP: Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Laurel
MIDDLE: Cloves, Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme
BASE: Cedarwood, Patchouli, Peru Balm
How to use:
Pot pourri is one of our most iconic creations, where the vivid nature is encapsulated in a blend of unmistakable colours and scents. Its precious green and aromatic notes are the result of a faithful recipe that has remained unchanged for over three centuries. For the Firenze 1221 Edition, the candle embodies a craft tradition and refined production, using the highest quality raw materials. Ø 8,4 cm, 7,5 x H 10 cm
Recommendations:
For first-time use, leave the candle burning until the surface is completely liquid. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and do not move it when lit or when the wax is still liquid. Extinguish with the lid, regularly trim the wick to 3-5 mm, and keep it in a central position. Avoid placing a burning candle in direct contact with any surface, and do not let it burn for longer than 3 hours at a time.
