More about this product
The Acqua della Regina Scented Candle envelops the living space in a citrusy fragrance, enhanced with notes of neroli and petitgrain. A charm that inherits its olfactory nuances from the iconic Acqua della Regina Eau de Cologne.
The Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella can trace its roots back to the Florence of 1221. In that year, Dominican friars founded the convent of Santa Maria Novella, and began to cultivate - among other things - a garden. From that same garden, many centuries of experience in pharmacopoeia and natural preparations began to develop. And in later years that experience would expand to include the worlds of cosmetics, fragrances and wellness products.
Olifactory Family: Hesperidate.
Also known as Acqua di S.M. Novella, Acqua della Regina (the Queen's Water) celebrates the perfume that Caterina de’ Medici commissioned the Renato Bianco, raised by the Santa Maria Novella Dominican friars, to create as her bridal gift. With Italian citruses, petigrain, neroli, and lavender, it offers a fresh and citrusy bouquet. Bewitching, since 1533.
TOP: Italian Citrus Fruits, Petitgrain
MIDDLE: Neroli, Rosemary, Cloves, Lavender
BASE: Musk
How to use:
With the renowned Eau de Cologne, this candle also shares the enchanting legend: Acqua della Regina is the fragrance that Caterina de' Medici gifted to the King of France in 1533. In the Firenze 1221 Edition, the candle testifies to a craftsmanship tradition and refined production, using the highest quality raw materials. Ø 8,4 cm, 7,5 x H 10 cm
Recommendations:
For first-time use, leave the candle burning until the surface is completely liquid. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and do not move it when lit or when the wax is still liquid. Extinguish with the lid, regularly trim the wick to 3-5 mm, and keep it in a central position. Avoid placing a burning candle in direct contact with any surface, and do not let it burn for longer than 3 hours at a time.
