More about this product
Marescialla Eau de Cologne by Santa Maria Novella is an olfactory delight rooted in the 19th century art of perfumery. With a woody and oriental character, it stands out for its spicy and sophisticated bouquet.
The Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella can trace its roots back to the Florence of 1221. In that year, Dominican friars founded the convent of Santa Maria Novella, and began to cultivate - among other things - a garden. From that same garden, many centuries of experience in pharmacopoeia and natural preparations began to develop. And in later years that experience would expand to include the worlds of cosmetics, fragrances and wellness products.
Olifactory Family: Spicy - Woody Oriental Notes.
With Marescialla, you embark on a sensory journey through the charm and mystery of a bygone era. The opening is dominated by the vivacity of mace, a refined spice that leads the olfactory experience toward a heart rich with cedarwood and centifolia rose. The base evolves into an enveloping harmony of sandalwood, patchouli, and oakmoss, creating an intense and captivating fragrance. Marescialla is mentioned in the renowned novel “Il Gattopardo” by Tomasi di Lampedusa, where the bouquet à la Maréchale follows the protagonist Angelica in an elegant dance.
TOP: Citrus, Mace
MIDDLE: Cedarwood, Centifolia Rose
BASE: Sandalwood, Patchouli, Oakmoss

ALCOHOL DENAT., PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), DIETHYL PHTHALATE, BENZYL SALICYLATE, LINALOOL, GERANIOL, BENZYL BENZOATE, D-LIMONENE, EUGENOL. The ingredient list of our products can be updated. We therefore invite you to always consult the ingredients list on each package.
