Contemporary Ceramics Valuation Day

BEAR is delighted to be hosting a valuation day for experts from specialist auctioneers Maak Contemporary Ceramics on Wednesday 12th October at our Petworth shop.

Marijke Varrall-Jones & Frances Robinson will be at BEAR between 10am and 4pm on that day, offering free valuation appointments with a view to consign.

The ever increasing global enthusiasm for studio ceramics has seen a string of auction records being set over the last two years reflecting an ongoing and sustained growth in the market, making it an exciting time to realise the value in a collection.

Visitors are invited to book an appointment to bring their ceramics for assessment for the Maak team to provide market insights and valuations on individual pots or larger collections built up over time. If you have a number of pieces that cannot be brought to BEAR, then a home visit can be arranged.
